Beaches

Moraira, Benissa, Javéa

There are many different  beaches around Moraira, Benissa and Javéa, some sandy and some pebbles and here you find the Top 10 Best Beaches that are closest to our house in and around Moraira, Benissa and Javéa (Xabia). For sure, this area offers the most beautiful beaches of the Costa Blanca North and some think of entire Spain. The majority of these beaches are within a range of 20km from Casa Isario.
Benissa - Cala Baladrar - 3,0 km from our house
Down the stairs, passing a very nice bar restaurant on your left, you have arrived at Cala Baladrar. Summertime can be quickly crowded here as the beach is not large, but off season you find yourself in between many locals. This is a pebble-beach, with some bigger rocks when entering the sea, but the quietness is worth a visit. Maybe even better, the local bar (Baladrar Beach Bar) is one of our favorite spots to relax.
Benissa - Cala Baladrar
Benissa - Cala Advocat - 3,8 km from our house
Close to Casa Isario, in the town of Benissa, you find the beach Cala Advocat, with a small pier of concrete, providing easy acces to the sea. The sea is always quite and you have a sandy soil here. At the top of this beach is a walking path that leads from Cala Advocat to the city of Calpe, a nice trip to make and then conclude your walk with a swim or a drink at restaurant La Paillotte (http://www.restaurantelapaillotte.com/) right in front. The restaurant is really a recommendation, however during summer days the small bar right at the sea is a good alternative for cold drinks.

Moraira - Playa la Ampolla -  5,9 km from our house
Moraira's main beach, right in front of the village centre and central promenade, is Playa la Ampolla. This is Moraira's largest, sandy beach and offers an easy, rockless entry in the sea. This is why this beach is especially suitable friendly for children and families.
Benissa - Cala Pinets - 6,1 km from our house
Be prepared by taking a comfortable airbed or tip-up seat when you visit Cala Pinets in Benissa. Cala Pinets has a bottom of natural rock plates, but gives you an inspiring view on the sea. Pine trees hang over the rocks and give this beach a very Mediterrane feel. Sit back, relax and listen to the waves hit the rocks.
Benissa - Cala Pinets
Benissa - Cala la Fustera - 7,0 km from our house
In the small urbanisation La Fustera, belonging to the municipality of Benissa, you'll find a beautiful sandy beach with a lovely restaurant (Mandala Beach Bar & Restaurant: http://mandalabeachbar.com/) where the food is very nice. The beach itself is not very big but it's lovely and the entry to the sea is flat. There is a path on two sides of the beach that allows you to walk along the sea with beautiful views, up to Calpe on one side and up to Benissa on the other.
Benissa - Cala la Fustea
Moraira - Playa El Portet - 8,2 km from our house
Beautifully situated in a bay surrounded by the headland, at the north of Moraira, you find Playa El Portet. Playa El Portet is an azure colored bay with a small but wide sandy beach. Stepping into the sea is easy as one can walk quite a few meters over soft sand. Alongside the quay are some nice restaurants & bars for lunch, drinks and dinner. This is one of the more beautiful places to see the sunset fall over Moraira.
Morara - Playa El Portet
Javéa - Cala la Barraca - 21,3 km from our house
Going down a steep road past a few beautiful houses in La Mar Blava (part of Javéa), you'll find the parking at Cala Barraca. This beach with small pebbles is situated in a bay just around the corner of El Portichol, a sharp point in the landscape opposite of Isla del Portichol. The beach is not very large but you can perfectly combine a nice beach-day with relaxation at restaurant Cala Clémence (http://calaclemence.com/en/), an Ibiza-style restaurant run by a French lady with the name Clémence.
